OLIVE TREE ADOPTION CONTRACT Abstract Antico Frantoio Trampolini sas, Perugia, aims to ensure the protection of olive trees in the region of Umbria and value the Extra Virgin Olive Oil that they produce by giving members of the public the opportunity to adopt an olive tree. We hereby accept the following terms and conditions: Art. 1 - The adoption of an olive tree is valid for one year; the adopter must explicitly express their desire to renew the contract, thereby authorizing successive payments of the adoption fee. Art. 2 - In exchange for the sum of €98 per tree, paid at the time of entering into this contract, in accordance with the terms of the Civil Code (Chapter I, art. 1472 ‘Future Acquisition of Property’), parties are entitled to the following: - a plaque bearing the name of the adopter displayed on the adopted tree - photos of the tree and certificate of adoption sent to the adopter by e-mail - the adopted tree’s total production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (2-3 litres), delivered directly to the home of the adopter (transport costs borne by the company) Art. 3 - The methods of payment available are: credit card payment via paypal, or bank transfer; payable to: Antico Frantoio Trampolini; with the following account details: Banca Marche; IBAN IT 32 J 06055 03004 000 000 000 352; from abroad SWIFT/BIC code: BAMAIT3AXXX; with the memo (payment details): ‘Adopt an Olive Tree’. Art. 4 - The company offers the adopter the chance to visit the adopted plant(s) (10 days’ notice), and the opportunity to participate in the olive harvest (30 days’ notice) and oil processing at the company’s olive mill (7 days’ notice). Art. 5 - The company pledges to inform the adopter via e-mail newsletter about all matters concerning the olive tree’s adoption. The company also reserves the right to send the adopter information about shows, sales promotions and other events. The signing of this contract demonstrates the agreement of both parties with all of its terms and conditions, and is binding for the applicant from the date of approval, and for the company upon receipt of the subscription. I hereby authorize Antico Frantoio Trampolini sas to use my personal data, in accordance with the Legislative Decree, art. 7, no. 196/2003 ‘Protection of Personal Data’, to send me further information.
