The mill, however, has an even older history. In fact, it formed the integral part of an agricultural property belonging to the ancient order of the Knights Templar, the famous warrior-monks, the evidence for which lies in the magnificent Templar Church of San Bevignate that stands near the mill, one of only two that still exist in Europe, and the last remaining one in Italy. Inside our walls, the production of high quality extra virgin olive oil has followed a tradition which has remained unchanged since the year 1300. Each brick in the walls exudes alchemy, and tells stories of times when man danced with nature.

The Trampolini oil mill is the little-known part of a huge network of small and medium sized enterprises which, in the name of tradition and quality, offer products developed ‘exceptionally’ according to a very high standard.
