Since 1785, Antico Frantoio Trampolini has been carrying on the tradition of Umbrian extra virgin olive oil in the heart of Perugia-the last mill still operating within the cityʼs historic walls.
True to our origins but always focused on innovation, over time we have combined artisanal wisdom with state-of-the-art technologies to ensure an oil with impeccable organoleptic qualities. Today, our mill uses an Alfa Laval X4 continuous cold cycle plant, with a production capacity of 20 quintals per hour – for an oil that combines authenticity, purity and quality.
OUR HISTORY

Templar Origins.
The oil mill is built by the Order of the Knights Templar near the Abbey of St. Bevignate, their home.
1785
A Family History
The Trampolini family became owners of the Oil Mill, handing down the knowledge and secrets of production for Extra Virgin Olive Oil to this day.
1975
The New Vision
Antonio Trampolini succeeded Fernando, who passed away prematurely, and the business began its transformation from a simple farm to an Olive Mill with modern features.
1988
The Trampolini Brand
The first bottle of “Trampolini” extra virgin olive oil is born, among the first Italian artisanal mills to offer it bottled.
1999
Technological Innovation.
With the entry of Alessandro Trampolini, the company switched to modern continuous-cycle plants with cold extraction, improving oil quality.
2025
Towards the Future of Excellence
The Oil Mill renews itself with state-of-the-art machinery, raising the organoleptic profile of the oil and confirming it as one of the best producers of high-quality extra virgin olive oil in Umbria.
